John’s Pizzeria opened its doors in the late twenties when the city streets were cobblestone, trolley cars were a familiar sight, and Henry Ford first introduced the Model-T. Bruschetta Pizza—Traditional thin crust pie topped with Mozzarella cheese and diced Roma tomatoes marinated in olive oil, fresh garlic and basil
Any Calzone—A half moon shaped pocket with Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese baked in a coal-fired brick oven
Linguine Alle Calamari and Vongole—Calamari and clams sautéed in a red sauce of white wine and garlic; served over linguine

Food was delicious, but I had to wait over an hour for it when it was supposed to take 30-45 min. Guests and I were starving by the time it came. I would never order from them again because of such a long wait and the food wasn't even worth it to compensate the wait time.

Probably the best pizza you can get in Jersey City. I've always been a huge fan of the one in the theatre district and this one does not disappoint. The bruschetta pizza is a win.

Food was good quality. We had the fettuccine alfredo and bruschetta. The bruschetta was very fresh and tasty. The fettuccine alfredo had a very good, creamy sauce. Would order from John's Pizza again.

Pizza was burnt, cold and tasteless. Their deserts are prepacked like you can buy at grocery store, certainly not worth $6. Never ordering from again.

The pizza was delivered exactly on the time i scheduled. I ordered 8 pies for a group and they were all hot and fresh! The pizza was delicious!

I order from John's all the time and have never once had a complaint, until my delivery guy refused to bring my order to my door b/c apparently my tip on the card was not good enough for him. Perhaps it was a computer error or something, but whether I tip a dollar or 5 is my choice and should not effect the delivery service. This rude behavior is making me weary about ordering from John's again, and especially pre-delivery tipping as it seems to effect the quality of service. Sadly disappointed b/c i love the food.

Only ordered once but was completely satisfied. Delivery was quick and courteous and the pizza was AMAZING! I'm about to place my second order, hope it's as good as last time!
