John’s Pizzeria opened its doors in the late twenties when the city streets were cobblestone, trolley cars were a familiar sight, and Henry Ford first introduced the Model-T. Since then, John’s has become world-renowned and a legendary institution with four locations, three in New York City, and one in Jersey City. John’s is a place where generations of New Yorkers and tourists alike have come to enjoy the finest pizza the city has to offer. Because of its wonderful reputation, John’s has seen the great depression, a world war, and 15 Presidents. What separates John’s from the rest is its chewy crispy crust, creamy mozzarella, fresh ingredients, a special sauce and “NO SLICES.” It’s a restaurant in which all pizzas are handmade and no two pizzas are alike.

Fried Calamari—Fried calamari; served with a Marinara sauce

Sausage Pizza Rolls—Homemade dough stuffed with fresh sausage spiced with fennel

Spinach Salad—Baby spinach tossed with a olive oil and vinegar dressing; topped with olives, crumbled Blue cheese, apples, walnuts and red onions

Bruschetta Pizza—Traditional thin crust pie topped with Mozzarella cheese and diced Roma tomatoes marinated in olive oil, fresh garlic and basil

Any Calzone—A half moon shaped pocket with Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese baked in a coal-fired brick oven

Linguine Alle Calamari and Vongole—Calamari and clams sautéed in a red sauce of white wine and garlic; served over linguine

The pizza was delivered exactly on the time i scheduled. I ordered 8 pies for a group and they were all hot and fresh! The pizza was delicious!

I order from John's all the time and have never once had a complaint, until my delivery guy refused to bring my order to my door b/c apparently my tip on the card was not good enough for him. Perhaps it was a computer error or something, but whether I tip a dollar or 5 is my choice and should not effect the delivery service. This rude behavior is making me weary about ordering from John's again, and especially pre-delivery tipping as it seems to effect the quality of service. Sadly disappointed b/c i love the food.

Only ordered once but was completely satisfied. Delivery was quick and courteous and the pizza was AMAZING! I'm about to place my second order, hope it's as good as last time!
